Cultural exchange with Alicia's students from North Carolina (US)

Last Monday 18th of May,our primary students of year 5 and 6 had a cultural and linguistic exchange with Alicia’s students from North Carolina (US) via videoconference. Alicia’s students introduced themselves to ours and asked them different questions in Spanish. Next, our students answered them in English and vice versa. Everyone enjoyed the new experience which was very exciting. Ali, thanks a lot for this opportunity and congratulations to you and your students. It was nice to meet them! See you soon!

El pasado lunes 18 de mayo, nuestros alumnos de 5º y 6º de primaria realizaron un intercambio cultural y lingüístico con los alumnos de Alicia desde Carolina del Norte (EEUU) mediante videoconferencia. Los alumnos de Alicia se presentaron a los nuestros y les formularon diferentes preguntas en español. Después los nuestros les contestaron en inglés y viceversa. Todos disfrutaron de esta nueva experiencia que fue muy emocionante. Ali, muchas gracias por esta oportunidad y enhorabuena a ti y a tus alumnos. Fue estupendo conocerlos! I.C.T= Information and Communication Technology (ICT) focuses on the creative and productive use and application of technology and computer systems, especially in organisations.

Design Technology or D.T., is the study, design, development, application, implementation, support and management of computer and non-computer based technologies for the express purpose of communicating, using various mediums, product design intent and constructability as well as to facilitate product operation and maintenance and to ultimately improve overall product design realization, construction, operation and maintenance.

Let's go to the theatre!

Last Wednesday and Thursday, our Primary school students enjoyed two plays in English titled: “Witches and cookies” and “Sinbad”.

Through this activity, they experienced the English language at the same time as they enjoyed the play. They could sing, dance and interact with the actors.

They had lots of fun!
